Beginning Birding Fall 10


Golden-crowned Kinglet

This class is for the beginning birder.  It is loosely based on David Sibley's book, "Birding Basics."  It will introduce you to the hobby of birding, and familiarize you with local habitats and birds.

Evening classes are supplemented by Saturday morning field trips to nearby birding locations.

Field trip itinerary

In the event of heavy rain, we may cancel a scheduled field trip. If have you provided your email address, check for notification if the weather is threatening. If necessary you may also call the instructor on the morning of the trip (phone number given in class).
